Having worked for many years in fashion and design in both London and the Oxfordshire countryside, we’ve honed the art of dressing for both environments – enabling us to head for a country weekend straight from the office on a Friday night.

One thing holds true for town and country, a good coat or jacket to cover the mud/suit/pyjamas (school run or dog walk) is invaluable.

The rest is plain sailing.  A jacket from Holland and Holland, a silk shirt from Zara, jeans from M&S and Granny’s silk scarf.  You get the picture.

So Country or City – it’s all in the styling, spotting the seasonal trend and adapting it.

…and for the record, tweed is always in.
